Leif Everson

Leif Everson is a documentary filmmaker based in Bozeman, Montana, with a passion for sharing visual stories, especially those relating to the environment, humanities, and the sciences.

He graduated from Boise State University in 2021 with a BA in Environmental Studies, before moving to Bozeman to pursue an MFA through the Science and Natural History Filmmaking program at Montana State University, graduating in 2026 with a focus on science communication and documentary film.

Whether capturing the beauty of nature, exposing the impact of human activity on the environment, or delving into the intricacies of scientific research, his work aims to spread awareness, provoke discussion, and inspire meaningful change.
